Biography

Hometown: Sheboygan Falls, WI

All through high school I have always enjoyed taking science classes. My chemistry classes were always my favorite, so when I came to Madison I knew that I wanted my major to be chemistry. Through the semesters there were many long days spent in class and lab, nights spent working on problem sets, and some hard exams to take. But, between classes I was still able to enjoy being here in Madison, and these last four years I have fallen in love with the city of Madison. I have loved walking down state street to go to the farmer’s markets on the square, or spending sunny days sitting out at the terrace with my roommates. I have also loved getting to go to Badger football and volleyball games, and I made sure I went to as many as I could. I am excited to be graduating and am thankful for the opportunities I have had and the friends that I have made here.

Favorite Memory

My favorite memory while I was a chemistry major was my analytical chemistry class. I enjoyed the experiments we did in the lab and how they all surrounded our group project. It was a great experience creating and presenting a poster at the end of the semester.
